Projects are supervised by a staff member and supported by experienced consultancy companies. The R&D Council is one of the main assets of EUKEP. New practical models for speeding up regional development are developed that are diffused within the affiliate community and the customer base.

Once an opportunity is spotted, EUKEP creates an IMPACT Initiative. An IMPACT Initiative consists out of a programme of both action-research (feasibility studies and stakeholder-analysis) and bringing parties together through hard business cases.
